Indulge in Spectacular Scenery and Rich History Within Kas

Kas is a seaside town on the Mediterranean coast in southwestern Turkey. It is well known for its whitewashed houses, winding mountain roads, beautiful beaches and magnificent harbor. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Kas, where a day of natural beauty and refreshing swimming spots awaits our members. One of the most beautiful bays in the Antalya province is Inonu Bay, described as an underwater aquarium. The secluded oasis is renowned for its high-visibility waters and diverse marine life. Yaglica Bay is next on today's agenda and is a popular location for Blue Cruise boat tours. Home to a spectacular canyon where freshwater flows into the sea providing a revitalizing swimming experience. Karalos Bay is our last stop for today, the bay is well sheltered and perfect for relaxing, swimming and admiring the vibrant sunset.

Porto Ceneviz is a wide open bay, where rocks rise out of the sea almost horizontally, giving the bay a protected feel. The sea here is calm, and the waters are warm, perfect for enjoying a morning swim. Our journey will then lead us to Phaselis Bay and Phaselis Ancient City. Phaselis was once one of the most important cities of the Lycian League. The Roman ruins are well preserved, and many things can be seen, such as protection walls, Hadrian's Arch, Roman baths, mosaics, and a theater. The day will conclude at the seaside resort of Kemer. Known for its pebble beaches, large marina, and pine forests of Olympos Beydaglari National Park, where cable cars run to the top of the Tahtali Mountain.

Ayisigi Bay, is one of the most beautiful bays in the Kemer district, home to many pine, palm, and eucalyptus trees. Created in the shape of a crescent, with clean, warm waters and fine, golden-yellow sands. Kumluca, is our next stop, which is located 90 kilometers west of the city of Antalya and lies on the Teke Peninsula. It is known for its sandy soil that is used for growing watermelons and its spectacular scenery. It is situated close to Olympos, which is another very popular tourist destination. We will then visit Olympos Ancient City, where historic ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods have survived to the present day. The final stop for today is Adrasan, also known as Cavus Bay. The bay lies within the 2.5-kilometer stretch of coastline where there are sandy and shingle beaches and villages to explore.

Demre is a town and district within the Antalya Province, named after the river Demre and is known as the Lycian town of Myra. Tour members can spend the morning exploring many historical sites such as tombs, a Roman theater, churches and other remains of Roman Myra. After exploring, the tour will lead to Pirates Cave, popular for its phosphorescent lights and is an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling. The day will conclude at Gokkaya Bay, very popular with blue cruise boats as its historical, cultural, and natural beauties all intertwine. The sea is cooler than most other bay areas within the region, as there are cold-water springs, perfect for a refreshing evening swim.

Kekova is one of the most unspoiled areas within Antalya. It is a natural wonder that fascinates guests with its sarcophagi in the water, sunken cities, rock tombs and bays of all shapes and sizes. The Sunken City has been submerged under water due to unfortunate earthquakes. Sarcophagi and rock tombs can be seen bearing traces of the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Our journey will then guide us to Simena where Simena Castle also known as Kalekoy can be found, located on a hill, overlooking Gokkaya bay. This area is also famous for its handmade ice cream with a variety of interesting flavors to experience. Located between Kas and Demre lies Ucagiz Village. In ancient times it was once a Greek fishing village but it is now a popular holiday destination, with much of its authentic charm coming from the surrounding historical ruins, olive farms, and fishermen’s houses. Kocakari Bay is our final stop today, loved for its crystal clear waters and stunning views across the Mediterranean Sea. The bay is a popular overnight spot for Blue Cruises as it is protected by surrounding cliffs and forests.

Tersane Island is the largest island within the Fethiye Bay. During the rule of the Ottoman Empire, the Greeks resided here, however after their deportation there were only a few old houses and a church that remained, some of which can still be seen today. We will then sail towards Eleksi Island where fishing, swimming and snorkeling in glass like waters are popular activities to enjoy. The day will conclude at Ufakdere Bay where tour members can relax in the tranquil area surrounded by natural beauty.

Tour members will be able to discover some of Kas Islands, beaches, and bays. Guvercin Island is located close to the town of Kas, the visibility and depth of the water is fascinating. Many tourists visit this island to admire the marble Shark Monument sculpture that sits on the sea bed. Our evening will be spent at Limanagzi Bay which offers one of the best beach vibes within Kas and allures its visitors with its shimmering bay. Abysmal cliffs surround the area, leaving an opening where its rocky beaches meet the cerulean sea. The magnificent water has a color palette unlike anywhere else in the region. Swimming, snorkeling, exploring the shabby beach huts and cafes, are popular activities and Limanagzi’s Lycian Way trail also adds to its uniqueness.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from the seaside town of Kas at 9:00 am. The modern town has many sites to explore such as the ancient Antiphellos, which has visible ruins including a theater. The 4th century BC. Lion Tomb, with 2 carved lion heads, is one of many popular Lycian rock tombs in the area. The town center is worth exploring where whitewashed houses and buildings covered in bougainvillea can be seen.
